The housing market in Northern Virginia is definitely a sellers market. There is very little inventory at the moment which is driving prices up and creating multiple bid situations on many properties. We've created a dream home wish list but have found through the house hunting process that we will more than likely end up compromising (a rude awakening that I feel many first time home buyers experience).
